VERONA, US: LiveProcess, a player in web-based emergency preparedness and incident management solutions for hospitals and healthcare organizations, has successfully added the largest regional trauma system in Texas, including 123 participating hospitals, to its industry-leading platform.

The facilities, which are located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and its surrounding 19 counties, are contracted through the North CentralTexas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) and represent one-fourth of all hospitals in the state, it shared in a press release.

Now, these facilities have access to a comprehensive hospital-oriented emergency management solution that enables them to improve their planning and preparedness, more easily and efficiently acquire and manage critical assets and resources, build and execute exercises to ensure readiness, and easily respond to and manage incidents via a virtual command center.

“One of the strongest attributes of the LiveProcess system is that it will give us a common critical resource management system and a consistent, hospital-focused, preparedness toolbox across the region,” said Rick Antonisse, NCTTRAC executive director. “This is critical given the vast scope and diversity of this region. One hospital within the NCTTRAC region, for example, used the platform to coordinate its participation in the rescue efforts when Hurricanes Gustav and Ike hit the Texas coast last fall.”

“We also anticipate that LiveProcess will not only streamline much of our day-to-day workflow, particularly in the area of expenditure planning and reimbursements, but also deliver important insight into regional resources and inventories,” Antonisse added.
