Terra awarded a call center project

SCOTTSDALE, US: EGPI Firecreek, Inc. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Terra Telecom, Inc. was awarded the project to design, program, and implement an IP PBX Voice Communications Platform with an outbound/inbound call center for a leading college recruiting service.

The new network will improve the company’s ability to connect prospective students with the colleges and universities of their choice.

The recruiting company helps students evaluate prospective colleges and universities by providing information, guidance, and contact with the institutions that best suit their needs. The current project will network together the main site located in Staten Island, NY with the West Chester, PA, Long Island, NY and Los Angeles, CA sites. Additionally, they will also be replacing a basic hosted SIP based call center with a feature rich customizable call center. The spatially redundant call center, with remote agents served through the wide area network, will utilize a combination of PRI and SIP trunks. Used in concert with the phone system and recording server, the company’s 220 agent call center will now have the tools to connect prospective students efficiently with the company’s customers which include colleges and universities across the country.

With this project approved, plans are in the works to integrate the company’s CRM with the call center. This will greatly enhance the ability to serve students, colleges, and universities by providing the instantaneous information needed for faster, more complete and more cost effective interactions.
