“We have developed an ARNE-IVR for VAS providers which will help them in connecting with telecom service provider in the circle they want,” said Tim Daniels, global product marketing manager, Telesoft, in an interaction with CIOL.

“At present, a VAS player has to integrate his services in central server system of an operator and then it is channelized to the circle where the service has to be offered. By using ARNE —IVR, a player will be able to locally connect with a telecom network and there are ports available on the device which will help him to connect with six to seven operators in that same circle.”

Daniel elaborated this would help telecom operators in having access to local contents and in a local circle.

“A VAS player in a circle will be able to club various localized content with which operators connect in that particular circle without having to make large investment with one player on a national level and tuning content as per subscribers requirement in a particular circle,” said Rajiv Nayyar, vice president, sales and operations, Asia Pacific, Telesoft Technologies.

Nayyar mentioned that Telesoft will provide hands-on training to VAS players on the technology that help them in developing independent business model at its application and integration laboratory in Noida. Apart from this, Telesoft will organize location based workshop and conference for independent VAS players.
