BANGALORE: Telecommunication manufacturer TELES

India
has announced the launch of TELES.iPBX, a multifunctional and Scalable

Soft PBX for IP telephony controlled by SIP and H.323 protocol, that integrates

into the existing telecom infrastructure and allows organisations to add

extensions in local LAN, at branch offices or at home office using the Internet.






TELES.iPBX provides comprehensive PBX functions, enabling users to benefit from
the power of IP and VoIP. It provides advanced least cost router mechanism to

optimise cost savings and the voice network efficiency.






The new product supports SIP and H.323 protocol providing the better utilisation
of IP Bandwidth with complete security. It can extend the network with

additional voice features, which is normally available with big PBX systems and

provides n-way conferencing, IVR, Call attendance, voice mail, call forwarding

and complements existing PBX systems by avoiding costly replacement of existing

PBX investment.






"The TELES.iPBX can support larger numbers of endpoints and services with
little or no expense of adding additional PBX hardware. The Intelligent routing

features can automatically redirect calls, making service representatives more

accessible, responsive and productive - a win for both the company and the
