BANGALORE: Swedish firm, Telelogic has moved to a new, larger facility in Bangalore as a part of its ongoing expansion plans in India. The new facility, which has a capacity of close to 160, will house Telelogic India's Sales, Marketing, Global Support operations and Product Development Center, all under one roof.

"Telelogic's operation in India is now the fourth largest in the Telelogic group," said Sidharth Malik, Managing Director, Telelogic India. "We had previously built up a local sales and support organization and also a global support and a global telemarketing operation in India with great success. This was followed by the setting up of a Product Development Lab at Bangalore which will focus on performing test and quality assurance of Telelogic's integrated product offering. And now the shift to the new larger facility in Bangalore will further Telelogic's commitment to the Indian market."

Telelogic has been present in the Indian market since April 2001. It has grown from an employee strength of three people to a full-fledged operation with around 80 people. The operations in India currently include sales, professional services and a global support center, which provides technical support 24X5 to all Telelogic customers worldwide as well as the new product development lab.
