STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Telecom operator Tele2 posted fourth-quarter core profit in line with expectations and flat year-on-year on Tuesday and said it continued to add new customers in Russia at a fast pace.
Earnings before interest tax, depreciation and amortisation (EDITDA) were 2.19 billion Swedish crowns ($294 million) against a forecast of 2.20 billion in a Reuters poll and 2.16 billion a year earlier.
The company said it had added 1.15 million new customers during the quarter in Russia.
