Telcordia bags emerging VAS Provider award

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Telcordia, a provider of mobile, broadband and enterprise software and services, on Wednesday announced it has been recognized by the Communication Media and Infrastructure (CMAI) Association of India as the Emerging Telecom VAS Provider at this year's 5th National Telecom Awards.

Telcordia won the award for the deployment of its service delivery and charging solution across multiple Indian mobile operators, said a press release.

Telcordia Real Time Charging, which is powered by the Telcordia Converged Application Server (CvAS), enables operators to deliver differentiated, personalized and innovative service offerings that accelerate new customer and revenue growth.

The suite enables both prepaid and postpaid services to be deployed in a wide variety of convergent networks. Telcordia Service Delivery Solutions are deployed in Aircel, Idea, Tata DOCOMO and Uninor.

“Telcordia’s Service Delivery and Charging solutions provide mobile operators with the differentiation, reliability and scalability needed to support their business strategy of delivering service innovation to tens of millions of subscribers in the Indian market,” said Mike Wojcik, president, Service Delivery Solutions, Telcordia.
