It is an open architecture based high density carrier Ethernet cloud services, ethernet/MPLS, switching platform that addresses many challenges of cloud based services such as security, resiliency, low latency, load balancing and SLA monitoring.

T-Metro 8000, the new carrier cloud gateway, is built on AdvancedTCA open architecture standards that enable seamless integration of additional blades from other vendors allowing creation of new services and solutions.

“The cloud gateway is the missing piece between the virtual cloud providers and carrier cloud providers. It’s an open platform to service the needs of virtual and carrier cloud providers and it inter-connects and optimizes the two,” Itzik Weinstein, CEO, Telco Systems told reports on the sidelines of APAC Press & Analyst Summit in Hong Kong.
