TechSpan merges with Headstrong

NEW DELHI: The Sunnyvale, California based TechSpan Inc has decided to merge with the US-based Headstrong. While no details of the deal were so far available, sources disclosed that the merger has come into effect from today, November 3, 2003.

TechSpan is privately held systems integration and consulting firm founded in 1998 by Arjun Malhotra. The company had attracted venture investment by Goldman Sachs and Walden International Investment Group and boasts of collaborative solutions that assist its clients and collaborative partners to address their critical business and IT issues.

Headstrong, formerly James Martin & Company is a global consultancy with a 20-year track record of providing clients with value-based solutions across consulting, systems integration and application outsourcing.

The merger is expected to brings together two formidable consulting and IT services companies with dual shore domain expertise. Headstrong’s management consulting and systems integration capabilities coupled with its enterprise level program and project management, enterprise architecture, and broad domain expertise complement TechSpan's deep industry knowledge and experience. Experts suggest: “It is a marriage of complementary business operations that offers strong dual shore domain expertise and consulting prowess with deep technical acumen globally.”
