BANGALORE, INDIA: Data storage equipment maker Brocade Communications Systems Inc has put itself on the selling block, the Wall Street Journal said.
The paper said Oracle Corp and Hewlett-Packard Co were potential bidders for the company but a deal was not imminent and Brocade might not even go ahead with a sale.
Spokesmen for Brocade and HP declined to comment, the paper said.
Brocade, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle could not immediately be reached for comment outside regular US business hours.
