BANGALORE, INDIA: mKhoj, one of the fastest growing global mobile advertising networks, announced today that it will rebrand mKhoj to InMobi and launch its services in Europe. After its successful start in the United Kingdom last quarter, InMobi is now live in France, Italy, Germany and Spain as well, making InMobi available in over 23 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and now Europe.
Naveen Tewari, Founder and CEO of InMobi said, “So far, our focus has been on the Asian and African mobile markets. Now that we have achieved scale there, we feel it is the right time to make the leap to the global stage, especially given the requests from our partners for strong advertising and monetization opportunities in Europe. In line with our entry into Europe, we are rebranding as ‘InMobi’ to reinforce and simplify our service offering. InMobi not only speaks to our core offering, but also symbolizes our long-term goal of being a global player in mobile Internet advertising.”
The change will be inclusive in all 23 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe and the global conversion is expected to be entirely complete today. The name, InMobi, is a reflection of the words “in mobile” and denotes InMobi’s key value proposition.
“With the announcement of our entry into Europe, we’ll continue improving our performance benchmarks, in terms of quality, transparency, innovation and customer service with the goals of delighting our customers and setting new standards in the mobile advertising industry.” said Abhay Singhal, Co-Founder and Head of Global Ad Sales.
The company's first formal appearance as InMobi will be at the DigiDay Mobile trade show in New York during the week of September 14, 2009.
