TCS ranked 3rd among FinTech providers

MUMBAI, INDIA: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday announced that it has been ranked third in the FinTech 100, an annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors that derive more than one-third of their revenue from financial services industry as named by American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights.

For the fourth consecutive year, TCS has been ranked among the top 10 in the FinTech100. Nearly 45 per cent of its revenue came from banking, financial services and insurance during financial year 2010-11.

The company has moved up one more spot from last year. The FinTech 100 ranking is categorized and evaluated based on calendar year revenues and the percentage of revenue attributed to financial services.
