BANGALORE: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a tie-up with IBM
India to address the business needs of the enterprise market. TCS will market
and implement IBM’s software products and services in the enterprise space.
Speaking at the occasion, Phiroz Vandrevala, executive vice president, TCS
said, "This association is an extension of our relationship with IBM. The
two companies have partnered for several years globally on various projects
using IBM software technologies. TCS has gained considerable experience in
marketing and implementing IBM products."
TCS and IBM India have already been working together for the past 10 years in
marketing and supporting Lotus Notes, IBM’s workflow and collaborative
software. TCS has also implemented software solutions with IBM’s WebSphere
range of software, Tivoli and MQSeries.
Commenting on the partnership, Pawan Sharma, country manager, software group
and developer relations, IBM India Ltd. said, "IBM and TCS together is the
best combination the industry has to offer in complete enterprise software
solutions. The tie-up strengthens our commitment in providing our customers with
the best software solutions and services".
