MUMBAI, INDIA: Tata Consultancy Services expects to generate $1 billion revenue over five years by providing technology solutions to small-and-medium business units, its chief executive officer said on Tuesday.
India's top software services exporter currently gets "practically negligible" revenue from the business unit, its Chief Executive Officer N. Chandrasekaran told reporters in a conference call.
Tata Consultancy plans to raise the number of clients in the small-and-medium business segment to 1,000 from 130 now in a year, he said.
