TCS beats Infosys & Cognizant to be the top IT-BPM employer in India

CHENNAI, INDIA: Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) has emerged as the largest IT-BPM employer in India, followed by Infosys and Cognizant Technology Solutions, as per the 2016 rankings of Top 20 IT-BPM employers in India by NASSCOM.

TCS beat Infosys and Cognizant in last year's ranking also. But this year Infosys has topped Cognizant in terms of FTE headcounts, which was in the third position after Cognizant last year.

NASSCOM ranks the IT-BPM employers based on a survey conducted annually, which is open to all its members. The ranks are based on the India-based FTE headcount data submitted by the participating companies.
