TATA DOCOMO launches GSM service in Orissa

NEW DELHI, INDIA: TATA DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Limited, recently announced the commercial launch of its operations in Orissa.

The company’s next generation GSM service with an back to back roll out plan started its services in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Orissa covering a total of 20847 towns and villages, 4205Km of national highway and 3837Km of rail route, said a press release.

TATA DOCOMO’s pan-India service roll-out would be completed this year, with South Indian Circles going live first followed by circles in East, West and Northern region.
