Tarang to recruit 100 professionals

BANGALORE: Tarang Technologies would be adding approximately 100 software professionals by the end of this calendar year. The company is looking for middle level managers and senior software engineers. The company is also looking for fresh talent with two to three year experience in software development.



"We are in the hiring mode and expect to add in about 75 to 100 people by December 2003. The kind of people we are looking is mixed with both fresher and middle and senior professionals," said Tarang’s head of people development, Suresh R.



The company recruits through placement consultants and employee referral policy, with a success rate of 40 to 50 percent and the last channel being its website.



Tarang is about 100 employee strong presently, after recruiting about 25 people last year and adding another 35 to 40 in the way of acquisition of CyberCash, last year. It posted a revenue of $2.6 million, last fiscal and expects to close the 2002-03 with a flat growth of $2.75 to $ three million.



The company is engaged in offering pervasive solutions to the finance vertical, consumer good companies, enterprises and technology companies in the web & wireless and payments domain. It also offers scalable payment solutions for financial service domains.
