Tally unveils inventory mgmt, control module

BANGALORE, INDIA: Tally Solutions has introduced Job Work module to its Tally ERP.9 edition. It aims at reducing cycle times, increasing efficiency and cutting costs.

According to the company, Job Work can create easier workflows, simplify inventory management and handle exceptions preventing the need for additional modules or customization.

The ‘Job Work’ from Tally ERP.9 looks after all aspects from receiving a customer’s order to completion of job and dispatch of material to customer to receipts and payments, said a press release.

It tracks the materials received, purchased and dispatched against each job order, takes care of job worker invoices, is able to process a profit analysis of each job order as well as keep provisions for statutory requirements such as Annexure V for Excise Purpose etc.

Additionally, the Job work module in Tally.ERP 9 looks into sub-contracting as well as sub-sub-contracting jobs through the creation of a hierarchy of job orders while keeping a track of the lowest job order to the highest ones.
