NEW DELHI, INDIA: Tally Education (TEPL) has joined hands with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to launch a skill training program on computerized accounting through Tally ERP 9.

The joint initiative will deliver instructor-led training through a unique training model, which integrates colleges across Andhra Pradesh.  It seeks to address both the issues of employability for students and talent acquisition for employers. The program curriculum has been designed to keep minutest of details in mind, as per industry standards.

It also seeks to impart vocational education to potential candidates in computerized accounting using Tally ERP 9. The program aims at empowering the faculty members of colleges across Andhra Pradesh through a Train the Trainer program on “Computerized Accounting using Tally.ERP 9” conducted by Tally Education. The colleges will be required to register their faculty members with APSSDC for seeking training sessions for Tally.ERP 9. Job fairs will be organized jointly by TEPL and APSSDC for the students of colleges enrolled for this program.

The IT & ITeS industry is expected to reach USD 300 billion by 2020 driven by rising demand in domestic market, along with increasing IT Services exports. The CAGR for 2013-2020 is estimated to be 16 per cent. The estimation of incremental man-power requirement from 2013 to 2017 in the IT sector in India is expected to be around 3.9 million.
