Take Solutions offers academic aid

BANGALORE, INDIA: Take Solutions, a provider of supply chain management and life sciences solutions, recently organised the Take Solutions Scholarship Distribution Day for schoolchildren in Chennai.

Through this initiative, Take offers educational sponsorship, including uniforms, books, bags, stationery and school fees, to 500 children annually, said a press release.

Take's partner in this initiative, Give Life, is an NGO that undertakes various initiatives for the welfare of underprivileged children in Tamil Nadu.

The company claimed in a statement that over the last three years, Take and Give Life have been undertaking these activities and this year, employees of Take visited schools in and around Tamil Nadu and shared their experiences with young children.

The company employees also conducted several sessions, with themes such as Career exploration or Effective use of Mass Media, to bring about more focus and interest among students. The sessions were spread over four months, the release added.

“For over three years, we have been working closely with Give Life in this initiative with increasing enthusiasm and participation from our employees and the young beneficiaries. Our employees have come forward and volunteered their time and energy to contribute to the community,” said Dr N Chandrasekaran, vice-president, Corporate Affairs at Take Solutions.
