Taiwan hosts Asia's biggest auto parts expo

TAIWAN: The world-famous Taipei AMPA 2007, one of the world's best and Asia's largest auto parts show, has coupled up with AuoTronics Taipei 2007, Asia's fastest up-and-coming auto electronics show, to open new era in motoring history.

This premiere dual-show, being held at the expo space at the TWTC (Taipei World Trade Center), joins 995 exhibitors from home and abroad, thus paving a new road in the motoring history with the hottest, broadest selection of auto products. The show is on till April 5.

The Taipei AMPA 2007, also called the 2007 Taipei International Auto Parts and Accessories Show, has seen participation from 825 exhibitors with leading names such as TYC Brother Ind., Depo Auto Parts, Gordon Auto Body Parts, Mycarr Lighting Technology, and Macauto Inc.

AMPA'07 presents a full menu of theme areas including: Auto Parts & Accessories, Repair Service Tools & Plastic Parts, tyres, tubes, related accessories, and much more, especially for Asia's automotive after-sales market.

Meanwhile AutoTronics Taipei 2007 has brought together 170 exhibitors including leading firms as Garmin Corp., Globalsat Technology Corp., Fujitsu Microelectronics, Holtek Semiconductor Inc., E-Lead Electronic, Antec Electronic system Co., Everlight Electronics, Tung Thih Ent., Taiwan Calsonic, Hamg Shing Technology, Mobiletron Electronics, Lite-On Automotive, and KMC Chain Ind.

AutoTronics '07 profiles a vast and growing field with theme areas that include: Telematics/Drive Information systems, Auto Body Electrical Systems, Auto Security & Security Systems, Engine Management & Power Train Systems, Brake Control Systems, Suspension Systems & Chassis Systems, Automobile Electronic Products, and Automobile Electronic Components & Parts.

Big names like BMW (Germany), Delphi (Italy, Australia), Halfords (U.K.), Hyundai (South Korea), Holden (Australia), Johannes J. Matthis (Germany), Repco (Australia), Sanyo (Japan), Fota S.A. (Poland), Dhb Components Automotives S.A. (Brazil) are also here.

To encourage business entities to strive to invent and innovate user-friendly, eco-friendly safer products, the organizer has also arranged the "Innovation Competition". A total of 109 entries from 70 companies participated in the contest and after fierce competition, 5 winners are being awarded from each show.
