SunTec to help Axis Bank's billing processes

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA: Axis Bank has deployed a solution of SunTec Business Solutions, which will enable it to handle fee-based income by better understanding customers’ relations.

According to SunTec, Axis Bank has partnered with the Thiruvananthapuram-based relationship-based pricing and convergent billing solutions company to consolidate its disparate billing silos, and centralize and streamline the pricing and billing processes.

The solution will further help Axis Bank create personalized product packages or bundles and manage fee billing for Payment and Cash Management, while having a unified view of its customers, the company pointed out.

“SunTec’s solution has allowed us to consolidate all our homegrown billing-processes. This improved our efficiency in handling the very complex billing function. Going forward, we aim to leverage SunTec features like relationship-based pricing and bill modelling. The implementation was remarkably quick,” said Subhakanta Satpathy of Axis Bank.

Rajesh Narasimhan, Vice President Sales – BFSI, APAC of SunTec, said Axis Bank is the company’s second banking services client in India after ICICI Bank.
