Sunil Dutt to lead Samsung mobile biz

NEW DELHI: Samsung today appointed Sunil Dutt as the country head for Mobile Business in India.

Dutt will be responsible for spearheading the sales and marketing function for both Samsung GSM and CDMA mobile business in the country.

H B Lee, president and CEO, Samsung South West Asia Headquarters, said, "We expect to fully leverage the huge potential of the telecom market in India with Dutt's expertise and rich knowledge of the Indian market. I am confident that going forward, Samsung can achieve new levels of success for its mobile handset business in India."

In his earlier stint, Dutt was with Nokia India as director, Sales. He has also worked with Philips India, Wipro Limited, Whirlpool and Barista.
