BANGALORE: Sun Microsystems has announced the fifth Sun Tech Days 2002 a
Developer Conference at Chennai. Themed Web Services and Beyond , the seminar -
a part of the world wide tour would provide an opportunity for more than 1000
software developers nationwide to interface with Technology Evangelists from Sun
Microsystems Inc. The two-day conference on May 2nd and 3rd would deliver
lessons in the development of web services by using Open Standards, which would
dominate the next wave of computing.
Sun organizes Tech Days every year in India to bring developers up to speed
on its latest offerings and to educate them on the most current software
concepts available. It also offers an opportunity to discuss strategies for
creating applications using Sun technologies including Java", Jini"
Solaris", the Sun ONE" architecture, ebXML, Forte" tools and JSP".
