StationDigital's mobile app is available for any Android mobile device and designed to provide the full functionality of the StationDigital Internet radio platform for the entire customer base, said a press release.

The StationDigital app is fully integrated into the StationDigital "listener rewards" program so that mobile users automatically earn rewards points in their StationDigital rewards accounts for listening from their mobile devices. In addition, the app allows users to check their rewards accounts, and also to make purchases of digital and physical merchandise using their StationDigital rewards points from the StationDigital online store, which is also accessible through the new StationDigital app.

"The present and future of Internet radio is completely tied to the mobility sector," said StationDigital's CEO and Founder, Tim Roberts, "and the future of StationDIgital's platform is to provide not only Internet radio, as we do now, but eventually offer a fully integrated, completely free Internet media platform which offers a complete suite of digital media services, from music to movies, from eBooks to video games and TV. All of this will soon be available on any mobile device through StationDigital's new app."

The company says that it expects to quickly follow this news with announcements of the upcoming launches of the StationDigital Internet radio app for all the other major app stores, including iTunes and Blackberry, and says that their app will be fully available for Internet radio listeners across every platform and device by early October.
