Under the terms of the new agreement, Accenture will continue to provide services across the application, infrastructure, and security domains. Accenture will also assist Starwood’s transition to a new global operating model that will provide more agility and flexibility in response to the rapidly changing technology and digital landscape, helping better meet business and owner requirements.

“Starwood is pleased to extend its collaboration with Accenture leveraging their deep understanding of our business and technology environment and their breadth of IT capabilities,” said Martha Poulter, CIO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

“We believe this extension represents the successful relationship we have jointly established over the past six years and are committed to further assisting Starwood in rapidly reacting to changes in the market and the growing demands from its guests, customers and owners,” said Emily Weiss, managing director in Accenture’s Hospitality and Travel Services practice, and client account lead for Starwood. “Together, we have enhanced Starwood’s technology capabilities and services and achieved significant cost savings and greater cost certainty.”
