Oracle's SRM solution is an integrated enterprise service that enables companies to listen, engage, create, market and analyze interactions across multiple social platforms in real-time, providing a holistic view of the consumer.

Oracle SRM, as claimed, allows organizations to use social to transform their corporate business processes and systems, with innovative social collaboration, marketing and insight services. It is integrated with Oracle Platform Services, including Oracle Java Cloud Service and Oracle Database Cloud Service, enabling marketing teams to integrate social with their custom Web pages, landing pages and marketing tools.

And spending on enterprise CRM software will grow globally from $12.9 billion in 2012 to $18.4 billion in 2016.

In recent past, Oracle acquired three social technology companies that included Vitrue a cloud based social marketing and engagement platform for marketers, Collective Intellect - a cloud provider for social intelligence solutions for organizations and Involver- a social media development platform that allows developers to create highly customized marketing applications for social media sites and web campaigns.
