'Spirit'ed Animation

HYDERABAD: Hollywood film-maker and producer of the films like "The Lord of the Rings" and "Matrix" Barrie Osborne opened Spirit's DI, FX and animation support center for film-makers in Hyderabad.






According to the company, the studio has the ability of taking a film from the concept stage to the screen using a mix of digital technology with filmmaking available globally. Under one roof, the facility offers complete film, video and digital dailies and post-production services to all segments of the global entertainment industry. Spirit is also equipped with a high-speed shared private network, joining the facility with others in including multiple Spirit locations in Hyderabad.





The Advance Digital post production technology offers Cintel's DSX Telecine and Scanner, Celco's Firestorm Recorder, Da Vinci's 2K Plus Color Correction System. DSX is a next generation data-cine, designed specifically for high-end commercial post-production, resolution independent film mastering and restoration projects. The new Da Vinci 2K Plus delivers much sought-after enhancements in color processing. Celco's Firestorm can output multiple original negatives with sharpness and speed that far exceeds laser recorders. This is the next level of recorder.
