Spice is the first to bring Lollipop update for Android One handsets

Spice Mobiles has become the first company in India to roll out the latest version of Android Lollipop update for Android One smartphones.

BANGALORE, INDIA: Spice Mobiles today announced the official release of the latest version of Android Lollipop 5.1 for its Dream Uno and Dream Uno H Android One smartphones in India. With this, Spice Mobiles has become the first company in India to roll out the latest version of Lollipop update for Android One handsets.

Prashant Bindal, CEO, Spice Mobility Ltd, said “Lollipop 5.1 is the latest version of Lollipop and consists of lots of improvements over Lollipop 5.0, such as an improved battery and RAM management and smarter notifications, thereby offering our customers an enhanced user experience. In the future as well, we look forward to be the first to offer our consumers the latest technology with our devices.”

The upgrade will be made available to Spice Dream Uno users in batches over the next few days, wherein customers can experience the latest Android version on their smartphones.
