Spanco secures Rs 5 cr outsourcing contract from Air India

NEW DELHI: Telecom integrator Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Ltd has received a long term outsourcing contract for its domestic call center operations, which operates under the Brand name `Sparsh', from Air India amounting to Rs five crore.

The company has commenced the operations and is providing services for Air India customer service from its Mumbai and Gurgaon domestic call centers.

Spanco is providing inbound services to all the passenger traffic of Air India within India including attending the inbound calls relating to flight information, booking and reservations, hotel and limo bookings, baggage, tele-check-in and complaints, etc. The said contract is for a period of three years.

The company had already received a long term outsourcing contract for its international call center operations which operates under the Brand name `Respondez' from Air India a year before and is providing similar services to the passengers of Air India from UK, USA and Canada.

According to the Spanco, this will also mark its entry in the aviation vertical for its domestic call center arm, Sparsh.
