Sony Xperia L2 with 5.5-inch HD display launched at Rs 19,990

Sony has launched a new smartphone for its Indian customers. The smartphone dubbed Sony Xperia L2 is a successor to the Xperia L1 which was launched last year.  The Xperia L2 was unveiled alongside Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra at the CES'18 event.

Coming to the specifications of the device, the Xperia L2 features a 5.5-inch HD display screen with Sony's proprietary Image Enhance Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone has a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comprises 32GB onboard storage space which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In terms of photography, the Xperia L2 sports a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back with a f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor with a 120-degree wide angle lens that comes with a f/2.4 aperture. The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

The handset packs a 3,300mAh battery that is equipped with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and supports STAMINA mode and Battery Care to enhance the life of the battery pack by adjusting the charging current. Other connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and FM radio. Lastly, Xperia L2 also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.

The Xperia L2 is priced at Rs 19,990 and is available in black and gold color options.
