Sony launches new SDHC memory card

BANGALORE, INDIA: Sony India Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it has launched new SDHC class 10 storage memory cards, with high data transfer speeds and enhanced image recovery abilities.

The new card has a software for recovering accidentally-deleted pictures and has a fast data transfer capacity of up to 22MB/s, said a press release.

SDHC memory card class 10 protocol makes it ideal for sports and action photography in burst shooting modes, and stable recording of large HD videos.

The card allows users to quickly transfer storage-intensive high-resolution photos and videos from the card to a computer, the release added.

Playback of movies and photos stored on SDHC card are easily powered when it is used together with the MRW-F3 memory card reader and connected via USB to a television or blu-ray player. Users would also be able to download x-pict story, a software which lets users create and share slideshows of their favourite pictures and music, the release further added.
