Sony launches full HD 3D home cinema projector

JAPAN: Sony announced its new full HD 3D home cinema projector, the VPL-HW40ES that brings a true home cinema experience to a wider audience. From action-packed thrillers to drama and absorbing documentaries, the VPL-HW40ES brings movies and TV shows to life in 2D or 3D with fabulous colours, detail and contrast.

The VPL-HW40ES home cinema projector has been introduced to expand Sony's home cinema range. It will sit alongside the VPL-HW55ES, Sony's industry-acclaimed and multiple-award winning projector, announced at IFA in 2013.

The VPL-HW40ES delivers the high quality, immersive images of a big screen cinema experience into the home, using the same SXRD panel technology featured in Sony's top-flight digital cinema projectors, but at a fraction of the price.
