Available in India at Rs 9,995, T200 is a triple-band GSM/GPRS phone and can be used across five continents. The phone comes in two colors, ebony black and ice blue. Using the T200 together with the attachable digital camera, CommuniCam MCA-10 view, it is possible to click pictures on the move, look at them in the phone's display and even send them as email attachments to friends and family. The picture phonebook in T200 lets the user add a picture to a contact in the address book.

When the person calls, or is being called, the picture is shown in the display together with the name. It comes with five entertaining games - Ballpop, Q, Path, Pulldown and Tennis. The T200 accesses mobile Internet at fast speed over the GPRS network and through a WAP 1.2.1 browser. For fast and easy access to the mobile Internet, the T200 has an access key, which offers the fastest way to loads of downloads, such as new EMS pictures and ring signals. The phone comes with up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of stand-by time.

For personalization and portability, the T200 has a loophole where a wrist strap or mascot can be attached. The calendar in the T200 keeps track of meetings, anniversaries and other things that best not be forgotten. "There is an interesting trend that is emerging with consumers, especially the youth, who have been exposed to mobile telephony, seeking feature rich fun mobile phones providing messaging, entertainment and content. T200 will give the consumers a full new rich entertainment experience at an affordable price," said Sudhin Mathur, General Manager, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB Branch Office India.
