The conference, which takes place Oct. 9 to 10 at the Omni Orlando Resort, is aimed at event industry leaders and gives an interactive and engaging summit about the future of event technology from ACTIVE Network. The Mediasite Events team will capture select sessions for live and on-demand playback. During or after the summit, registered attendees can watch sessions on any computer or mobile device.

Donny Neufuss, Sonic Foundry's senior account manager for Event Services, will present, "Mastering Hybrid Events: Best Practices for Leveraging Event Tech to Reach Live and Virtual Audiences" at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.

According to JR Sherman, senior vice president and general manager of ACTIVE Network's Business Solutions Group: " "Providing our attendees with access to live, online conference sessions via Mediasite allows us to reach a worldwide audience that is unable to attend our event in-person.  In this way, people can access the knowledge shared at the event on-demand well after it ends. We're happy to work with Sonic Foundry on this event."
