Softplus inaugurates new software development facility

MUMBAI, September 2: Softplus Inc., a Cupertino-based systems

integration and products company delivering total solutions in Enterprise

Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM) and e-commerce, announced the

inauguration of its software development facility at SEEPZ, Mumbai, as a

part of its global expansion plans. The 10,000 sq ft facility can

accommodate over 120 software developers. Investment to the tune of Rs 4

crore went into the infrastructure development at the new facility.

Softplus is aggressively looking at India as the main center for its

worldwide product development requirements. Softplus Inc. Chairman &

President Mohan Uttarwar said, "The India Development Center,

Softplus Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, has been responsible for developing some

world-class products like ConnectEx and CallEx that have made their mark

in the international Call Center solutions market."

Softplus Inc. has also entered into a strategic alliance with

US-Cupertino-based Portal Inc, a provider of customer management and

billing software for Internet and emerging, next generation communications

services.
