PUNE: Sobha Renaissance North America (SRNA), the American subsidiary of Bangalore-based Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT), has restructured its business to be more effective and profitable in the North American marketplace. SRIT is an international IT consulting and systems integration company.

According to the press release, the top-order shuffle includes the induction of three, very senior executives made responsible for SRNA's renewed impetus at making deep inroads into the North American market and meeting SRNA's five-year financial targets from the North American geography. The company also announced an additional $one million investment to support the growth plans.

Jo Surich has been inducted as SRNA president and CEO. He will be operating out of the Canadian subsidiary opened in British Columbia, Canada. Paul Shumate comes on board SRNA as its EVP for sales and George Logemann as SRNA EVP for managed-services. Robert Seguy continues as a partner in the SRIT Board of Management and has assumed the new role of EVP responsible for driving the healthcare businesses in North America.

Seguy was categorical in stating that the goal of this refurbished SRNA is to increase revenues and make SRIT more profitable. SRIT has begun stepping up its recruitment drive, as an additional 900 members would be required to join the existing team to fulfill the 5-year financial targets for the North American and Canadian geography.

Elaborating on the rationale behind the restructuring, the co-founder CEO of SRIT Dr. Madhu Nambiar said, "SRIT is a young and growing organization. Re-structuring SRNA to bring-in adept businessmen with proven track record, people who understand the intricacies of the North American marketplace makes good business sense."
