This partnership would allow SMBs to replicate point-in-time backup images created using StorageCraft ShadowProtect, and transfer them to the cloud with the Doyenz ShadowCloud  platform.

ShadowProtect, disk-based backup, disaster recovery and migration technology, creates these backup images which are securely stored and made available offsite in the Doyenz ShadowCloud – either for file and folder recovery or to be restored and run as a virtual machine in the event of a production failure, said a press release.

Doyenz delivers a virtualization and cloud-based managed service platform that provides Active Disaster Recovery, Failover in the Cloud and Migrations in the Cloud for the SMB market. Its partnership with StorageCraft will make it easy for SMBs to leverage both technologies to secure their valuable systems and data.
