Founded by IIT-Bombay alumni, Manoj Meena and Sibabrata Das, Atomberg makes fans, which are based on the state-of-the-art Brushless DC technology that is more energy-efficient than even the five-star ceiling fans available in the market. A BLDC fan can generate a superior airflow than a 5-star rated fan while consuming 65% less power and Atomberg Technologies was the first company to introduce this pioneering concept of the BLDC motor in India with its Gorilla range of fans.

The fans consume just 28 watts of energy, even when operated at their highest speed, while the majority of other ceiling fans consume around 75 watts of enrgey. The fans come with a smart remote control, which has speed control, sleep, and timer mode.

Instead the market price of Rs 3,500, residents in Mumbai can buy four fans for just Rs 1,750 under this scheme. The consumers would also get a three-year warranty on these Gorilla Fans delivered through the DSM scheme.
