SK Tel targets $2.2 bn operating profit in 2011

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: SK Telecom , South Korea's top mobile carrier, said onWednesday that it aimed to achieve 2.4 trillion won ($2.24 billion) in 2011 operating profit at the parent company level ununder new amounting rules.

SK Telecom chief financial officer also said in a conference call that it was targeting 13.3 trillion won in 2011 sales.
