Recently, IBM designed a new Data center at Simplex site in Kolkata and implemented the project including supply of air-conditioners and UPS systems, said a press release.

“Our relationship with IBM has strengthened over the past few years and we always consult IBM in our endeavor to modernize our IT. This relationship with IBM is going from strength to strength due to IBM's wide range of product portfolio, strong technical expertise and excellent after sales service”, said Jaya Bhattacharyya, CIO, Simplex infrastructures.

Earlier Simplex had set-up a small server room on their own to meet the basic IT needs but later due to the tremendous growth in business, a professional and state of art Data center was needed. Hence they decided to upgrade their server and storage systems and also economise on space utilization, the release added.
