Sify mail made virus free by Trend Micro

and Trend Micro Inc. has jointly offer managed virus protection services to

subscribers of Sifymail and Sify.com's email service. This will be powered by

Trend Micro’s InterScan and VirusWall.

Sifymail's new anti-virus feature, from Trend Micro, will enable Sifymail

users to scan their incoming and outgoing mails, including attachments, HTML

mailers or mailers having Java script, for any virus. Sifymail's virus

protection offering will be made available free of cost to all subscribers.

online research by Sify.com, over 1000 respondents rated an anti-virus feature

as critical to any email service. We at Sify believe that this value-add will

reinforce customer confidence in our services. Faced with an onslaught of

viruses and spam, Internet subscribers are becoming increasingly aware of their
