Shrikant Shitole is the new Symantec MD for India

MUMBAI, INDIA: Symantec Corp. has appointed Shrikant Shitole as managing director for its enterprise security business in India.

Shitole takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi who has been promoted to Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan sales for Symantec.

Based in Mumbai, Shitole will be responsible for driving growth for the company by developing and delivering on business strategy.

A seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Shitole has held senior management roles across several enterprises in the IT and telecom segment such as Nelco Ltd. (Tata Enterprise), Avaya Services, Cisco and worked extensively across the Asia, Pacific and Japan region.
