Sex or smart phone?

MUMBAI, INDIA: Most Indians would rather sleep with their smart phones than have sex, a new survey commissioned by Lenovo has found.

The survey which has made some startling observations, noted that Indians are sleeping with smart phones in their hands, and that some would rather give up sex for a weekend than part from their sleeping partner (the smart phone).

Sixty percent of the respondents said they slept holding their handsets- with the highest percentages in India (74 percent) and China (70 percent).

One in six smart phone users said they used their phones while showering, and 54 percent said they would reach for the smart phone before saving their cat in a fire.

Around 40 percent tell secrets to their phones they would not reveal even to their best friend, the survey found.

However, all’s not lost. A good 79 percent felt bothered that their devices interrupted them at inopportune moments.

The survey was conducted online by KRC research with a total of 7,112 smart phone owners in the United States, Britain, Brazil, China, Spain, Mexico and India.
