Serena Partners with Sonata in India

BANGALRE: Serena Software, Inc., the largest company solely focused on managing change throughout the application lifecycle, has announced that a new partner, Sonata Information Technology Limited (SITL), will market and sell Serena's broad array of application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions in India.



"This partnership with Sonata is the latest proof of Serena's commitment to increase our presence and offerings in the region by boosting our channel delivery capabilities and expanding our support programs," said David Parker, regional vice president for Serena's Asia operations.



"Sonata's expertise in products support and its broad distribution network will give Serena a powerful springboard to penetrate the highly complex India market, which we see as a key strategic growth initiative for the company, he added."



"SITL is currently a key distributor in India for industry leaders such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Mercury Interactive, and BEA," said Sujit Mohanty, manager of product business at SITL. "We are very excited by the opportunity to work with the leading provider of change and configuration management solutions, and look forward to working closely with Serena to accelerate their successful presence in India."
