New Update

Sennheiser has a really wide range of headphones now. These are two new ones; the CX 500 in-ear phones and the MX 760 earphones, both from the Classic Line. The CX 500 features an in-line volume control and is recommended for MP3, CD, and DVD players. Since no two ear canals are the same, the package includes detachable silicon buds in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Apart from that, a cable winder, a pouch, and a cable clip are included in the box. I found it quite comfortable, but some others who tried it found that was too tight, irrespective of the size of bud used. This really goes to show that in-ear phones are not really everybody's cup of tea. But because of the excellent seal it forms with your ear canal, It has surprisingly good bass and delivers quite a punch. Vocals, instruments, and bass-everything sounded crystal clear.

For those who don't like the idea of earphones burrowing deep into their ear canal, the MX 760 headphones are a good choice. While listening to all sorts of music, watching videos, movies, playing games, at high and low volumes, and whether on the move or on my PC, it left me amazed with perfect bass and superb audio quality. It's actually amazing how such a small piece of equipment can make you feel as if you are sitting in front of a hi-fi system. Accessories supplied in the box include pouch, cable winder, foam ear pads, and extension cable. The main cable is just 45 cm long, ideally suited to use with an MP3 player worn using an armband. The extension will come in handy if you use it with an MP3 player in your pocket. It comes in three colors-polished white, polished black, and titanium. Overall, both are ideal if you need great sound from a really small package.
