The company's iSecurity+ service powers more than 20 leading wireless cameras from top brands and ISPs worldwide, such as Belkin, ImogenStudio, Swann, and SingTel (Singapore Telecommunications). As a result, Seedonk serves one of the largest installed customer bases in the rapidly growing consumer video monitoring and home security space.

iSecurity+ gives users free, unlimited live monitoring of their homes or offices via a smartphone or web app. An optional premium feature, True Video Recording, enables wireless cameras to automatically detect and record motion-triggered events securely to the cloud, instantly notifying users with a mobile or email alert when threats are detected. Consumers can easily view, manage, and download recorded surveillance video through the iSecurity+ Timeline feature.

iSecurity+ users will have additional access to Apical's Assertive Vision smart video analytics, which includes advanced detection, classification, and tracking of people and other objects. The analytics provide iSecurity+ users with smarter, more granular event detection, enhanced mobile and email notifications, and better search capabilities for all their recorded video events.

The new people and object detection capabilities are the result of Seedonk's strategic partnership with UK-based Apical, a leading developer of image processing technology. CEO and co-founder Herman Yau, said, "We're thrilled to partner with Apical to bring state-of-the-art smart video analytics to the mainstream consumer for the first time."

Seedonk will demo the new technology at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas.
