The new version features the general availability of their Elastic Sandbox technology (previously in Beta), an updated application programming interface (API), and a stunning new user interface. This new release comes just before Seculert's scheduled appearance at Black Hat USA 2013.

The general availability of the Elastic Sandbox technology, previously in Beta, adds new features to the Seculert Advanced Threat Protection Solution. The cloud-based Elastic Sandbox is where malware is introduced, examined and profiled. With the new technology comes new techniques for data analysis. Users running malware samples can now select increments of time and different geo locations by which to analyze their sample.

"Our Elastic Sandbox is a natural progression for our cloud-based SaaS solution; continuing our dedication to research, intelligence and protection from malware and advanced threats. It is the only truly ‘elastic' sandbox available that allows malware to evolve over long periods of time, and not just run for a couple of minutes." says Seculert CTO, Aviv Raff.

With the new API, Seculert customers will be able to better visualize the API calls and data manipulation. Through easy integration of the API and pre-existing on-premises products, customers can transform their current security defenses into a complete advanced threat protection solution. Furthermore, Seculert's new user interface is even more intuitive and enhances the user experience, putting data about advanced threats instantly at the user's fingertips.

"With the new API console we will continue to simplify the lives of network security professionals; continuing our commitment to providing the best of our technology in the most intuitive and economic manner," remarks Raff.

Seculert's simple no hardware, no software, easy integration and affordable solution was recently endorsed by Sequoia Capital in a round of Series B Financing. Sequoia Capital joins NVP and YL Ventures as investors in the Israeli startup.
