Critical IT environments need to monitor, diagnose, analyze, predict and resolve critical incidents before they occur. Schneider Electric's Services Bureau has been set up with the aim to help customers from all critical environments achieve a much higher utilization of their infrastructure, and to achieve superior operational efficiency by driving down energy costs, human errors and costly downtime. Retail banking, high-end manufacturing and process automation units, telecom and data center environments are some of the critical environments that the Service Bureau caters to.

Nikhil Pathak, VP, Schneider Electric IT Business, India and SAARC said: "We believe that there are three reasons why Schneider Electric is in a key position to offer complete services for all critical environments. The first is that energy management is a major driver for addressing efficiency "as a whole". When monitored at the right precision, energy consumption can reflect the performance of a machine, of a process, or an organization, with accuracy.

"The second is that Schneider Electric today has capabilities across all components, applications and tools required to cover the entire physical infrastructure so customers don't have to approach different vendors for the different challenges they face.

"Lastly, our installed base provides a path to the ultimate resource, which is field data. Data science is the next step to provide more value addition to customers. This is a methodology to turn big data into information that will help people take better action for the short or long term, establishing a continuous improvement cycle."

With the Services Bureau as the core enabler, Schneider Electric launches their Asset Connect Services offer, a 24/7 service that will help monitor, diagnose, analyze, predict and resolve critical situations before they occur, and manages a customer's IT infrastructure in four easy steps using ASSET Monitor, ASSET Predict, ASSET Commit and ASSET Operate.

The Services Bureau is an effective solution for large, on-premise data centers or critical facilities that manage complicated IT environments. Organizations increasingly facing the challenges of high operational and maintenance costs including energy costs and the shortage of skilled technical personnel, will benefit from its specialized services.
