BANGALORE, INDIA: Next time you fly, you no longer need to stand in ques for your boarding pass!

Trip38, a smart travel management mobile app will now provide “Digital Boarding Passes” to over 50 domestic and international flights.

The Bangalore-based start-up, now provides automated check -in and boarding pass for over 50 domestic and international flights across the world. Automated check- in and boarding pass feature is available on both android and iOS platforms.

Now with Trip38, passengers can receive this automated check -in/ boarding pass via e-mail and directly to their mobile phone! No later than 24 hours before departure, automated check-in is offered to the traveler. This feature enables travelers to save time as they do not have to worry about manually checking in and availing collecting the boarding pass.

Trip38 is a smart travel management app providing itinerary management, day of travel info and context sensitive, local guide enabling seamless travel for consumers.

Trip 38 recently raised INR 6 crores from InterGlobe Technology Quotient, a strategic e-business unit of InterGlobe Enterprises, the parent company of Indigo airlines and Singapore based venture capital firm Lantern Capital.

Currently the Trip38 app has been downloaded across 170 countries, with a little over 25,000 users as of now. India accounts to 40-50% of the app usage.

“We are constantly working towards improving the product features and we foresee the App to be more intuitive, innovative and agile. Trip38 has been working on some really cool new features like sharing trip itinerary with family and friends, availing car rentals, etc. We plan to launch the product features shortly and we are confident that with the infusion of funds we will be able to achieve this, thus disrupting the travel experience and increasing productivity among the users,” concluded Sesh Krishnan, Founder- Trip 38.
